Is feeding kids, especially girls, too much chicken, fruitless for them because of breast growth hormones?

I'm raising my 3 grandkids beside my son as he suddenly and unexpectedly became a single parent near a heavy work agenda. I like to use boneless, skinless chicken breasts for most of my recipe. I always roast, never bread or deep fry! I'm 46 and that's righteous for me. But a friend just told me that it's not so suitable for young girls, they are 6 & 8, because they use closely of breast growth hormones on the production chickens for more white meat? Is this true? She's kind of a worrier and not completely open minded nearly things. So I am asking you all for your opinion. Thank You.

Peace,
Laurie
