When should i start shaving?

I'm ten years old, and i want to know when i shoudl start shaving. The summer is coming up, and i'm sort of self-concious of the curls on my legs. it's probably not a lot, but for me it seem like i'm a caveman! Should i start shaving very soon?

Also, i don't know how to ask my mom. i don't know if she'll want me to start. how should i ask?

When you start the hairs on your legs will grow posterior thicker and black, its not very nice. Best to give notice it as long as possible.

my two girls started at the age of 12 they merely shave from the knee down and not on the subsidise side if you shave all within years to come they will be black and need to be shaved similar to you did at first so the less you shave the better it will be within years to come I wished I have asked my mother and maybe I would not be doing as much as i enjoy to now

If you feel close to you need to shave, you should report to your mom. You could just mention it easily and politely when she is not too busy, "Mom, the summer's coming up and I'm really worried about the spike on my legs. I think it's time that I should start shaving and I ponder you should know that." Your mom will definitely respect your later life on your decision and she will dispense you her honest opinion. im 14 and i started when i was nearly 9 so ya u r definetly old satisfactory to. i asked my mom one day when we be in the vehicle and i just said mom my legs r really unkempt can i shave them when we get home and she merely said she but just remember that when u start u'll hold to do it 1 or 2 a week.
