Anyone suffer or know someone next to PCOS?
Answers:
If you have commonplace ovaries, then I doubt that you hold PCOS. PCOS stands for polycystic ovarian syndrome (poly = many cystic = cysts) If your ovaries look majority, then you don't own polycystic ovaries.
You may have a low estrogen rank (you said you were not overweight, but could you be underweight or too water down?) which can be caused by different things, and can head to an increase in the testosterone level.
I would suggest that you bring back a second opinion from a reproductive endocrinologist and kind sure that you get a full blood workup done (it will whip a month to do it) including estrogen levels, FSH, LH, progesterone, testosterone, TSH, T4, T3, blood sugar, prolactin, and any piece else that the RE can think of. The motivation why the tests will appropriate a month is because certain test must be ordered at specific times during your cycle.
