Can switching birth control medications interfere beside the menstrual cycle?

I was on ovcon-35 for almost 2 1/2 years. In that time my length was never latter then Tuesday around 2pm. As a event of fact surrounded by the last 6 months of my taking it I be getting my period on Monday evening and eventually Monday afternoon. It's pretty expensive though and the Doctor at the clinic I move about to said I could have the Birth control they deal in for $5 a month. So I switched to LO/OVRAL last month and should own gotten my period over 24 hours ago. My boyfriend and I did hold sex this past month (twice spur of the moment, we relied on the pill as our merely protection), so I know I could be pregnant. Also he and I have be fighting profusely and I have be very sick next to strep since Saturday (got it treated Mon, they put me on a babyfood/liquid diet). I only mention this because I know stress on the body and mind can prevent a woman from getting her interval. On the other hand my boyfriend and I own times when we fight profoundly and I do get sick remarkably often. Any sincere suggestion is appreciated!

Birth Control Question.?

Well I am a birth control queen, I have be on about 12 different kind. Every pill is different and they all own different amounts of estrogen and hormones in them, so respectively one will effect you differently. My doctor always told me that when you start taking different pills that your length may be heavier or lighter, you may have one and you may not, but since you hold been lower than stress and been awfully sick, it may be late because of stress. Just be cautious when you are sick, if you have diarreah or are throwing up, you are losing the pill, it is coming up. So be cautious when you have sex, wear a condom or own him pull out for a few days at most minuscule after you get over self sick.
