In America, what is the average height for a woman?

I'm 5' 8" and I quality slightly short. I want to be 5' 10" but that's not going to happen. So I be just wondering if I be taller or shorter than the average.

Guess what you are way up nearby compared to me...lol I'm just 5 foot one and one half inch or 5' 1 1/2 "....that extra 1/2 process a lot to me.....We inherit our looks, body shapes and sizes and so much more from our family on both sides. So we can't do anything to change those genes contained by our body makeup. As long as we are healthy explicitly the main article.
