Women-has anyone have the Essure sterilization procedure done?

I have looked into the possibility of it, and after doing a LOT of research, decided against it.
To start, in that's a 14% failure/complication rating. This includes such problems as the insert spontaneously expelling from one or both fallopian tubes, an insert puncturing a tube, infection, or a lack of scar-tissue-buildup.
Also, the procedure is not rapidly effective, nor can it be perform if you're currently using an IUD (it would need to be removed first). So you necessitate to either stay on the pill or use a different method of birth control for at LEAST 3 months.
There's also the possibility of complications from the HSG assessment that must be done at 3 months to make sure your fallopian tubes are completely blocked.
Finally, if you DO adapt your mind about have a baby after that on, this method is NOT reversible (versus surgical TL methods).
