I hear so often, "Well, Nicole Richie is wearing THIS at the moment," and "Paris Hilton wears THAT and she looks fantastic!" I don't designed to be nasty, but these aren't solid people that today's girls are looking up to. The Hollywood women that girls look up to are airbrushed to society's too-high standard of "perfection", to the point where on earth even the celebrities themselves don't certify themselves.

So why do we as women look up to these fake ideals? Because they are hammer into us day and darkness. Wherever we look, we see an advertisement for the cutest clothes that will "slenderize" us, the most recent brands of make-up that will produce us look "sexier", the next equals of perfumes that will attract the man of your dreams surrounded by no time. I'm amazed in today's society of the empower female that we verbs to look up to "Barbie" as the ideal allure.

I tend to have correctly high self-esteem. There are "up-and-down" days for sure, but those are in recent times part of go. I stopped looking up to models and celebrities as the "ideal" road to look when I was seventeen, and it is a extremely freeing feeling.

It's hard to own high self-esteem contained by todays world. The role models most young women look up to, they look up to within the appearance department only.

So if you're not delicate like Paris Hilton, and you're not gorgeous similar to Angelina Jolie, the deck is stacked against you in the self-esteem department.

I try to be confident in myself. I focus on things other than my appearance. I'm intelligent, I breed people screech, I'm a good friend, I'm giving, etc. But that's got zilch to do with the route I look, and I'm okay with that. I'd a bit be known for who I am, than how I look.
