when you count the 28 days do you count from the 1st day of your period or when it ended

You should count 28 days from the start of your cycle. But, everybody is different. Some have longer cycles, and some (like me) enjoy shorter cycles- GAG.

Throughout my life I've thought it be starting after your period ends. Lately I've see you start counting the day you receive your period. I'm not sure which is right BUT I've other been on the dot counting from the day after my time and the 28th day human being the first day of my subsequent period.

And it could bring up to a year or two until you become regular.
