Dr. said at least a month. I own read other places online that it could take longer. I have mirena removed and started yaz the same daylight. Hubby and I are wanting to a make sure. Any other info would be a plus. thanks

mostly a month....that is if you DON'T skip a dose....if you skip MORE than 2 doses per month, the pill's prevention of protection of getting pregnant go down (meaning you have a better chance of getting pregnant!). if you guys are doing the achievement, make sure that you use protection (each birth control is different and each take about a month to acquire fully into your system, but they all do like peas in a pod thing: primarily prevent pregnancy (but also to treat other conditions such as: hemorrhaging when pmsing, polycystic ovary syndrome, pmdd, regulation of pms))
