Poly cystic ovary syndrome assist!?
i didnt get my first extent til i was 17 and ive have 3 at the most a year since then im very soon 22 i had a scan done nearly 8months ago,that showed i have pcos im immediately on the pill to give me artificial periods is this fixing the problem?

I was put stern on birth control just this month for PCOS. The pills are supposed to prevent the cysts from forming. Some those argue and say that it also get rid of the existing ones. I honestly don't believe that because I was on birth control for 2 years since I became PCOS. Anyways, the birth control won't really "fix" it because near is no permanent fix for PCOS. The pills purely help next to the sympoms (cramping, acne, etc.) The periods are forged, but having your length makes your body seize back into the routine of bleeding regularly. I be having my period 14 days apart, and now that I enjoy been on Yaz since the 1st I haven't gotten it, so it's recounting my body when to release the egg. The Pill does not cure PCOS. There are other medication and things you need to do to alleviate PCOS.The best doctor to see for aid is an Endocrinologist.

pcso will be an ongoing problem for you, sometimes things will be ok and other times not so good. i hold had it since my teens and i own my ups and downs, the pill helps, be advise by your doctor it is a very adjectives syndrome and ther are lots of good treatments for you. chin up , don't verbs.
