Taking Glucophage (which treats Diabetes and Insulin Resistance-which 50% of the PCOS population does have) can regulate period because it's trying to treat the insulin resistance but you need to enjoy a dr prescribe it to you just similar to with the pill.
Since you don't own insurance I would recommend checking out Planned Parenthood or the city's health dept to see if they submit a free clinic, or a Medical School if you have one close by. These are some option for going back on the pill (in singular Planned Parenthood) if you are interested in going back on the pill. The other ones are also for if you want to try the Glucophage.
I regard as there is a drug out within for diabetes that helps...
