Does hormonal birth control (i.e. Yasmin, Ortho Tricyclen) own feminizing effects on women?

I know that female hormones and anti-androgens (Spironolactone) own feminizing effects on male-to-female transgenders, but I was wondering if they hold feminizing effects on women. By feminizing effects, I mean facial flab redistribution (fuller cheeks, maw, etc.), clearer skin, fat redistribute to breasts and thighs, and a more delicate, feminine appearance overall. Maybe I'm wish for too much, but I was only curious. Thanks :).

Therapeutic dosages don't really do much in the mode of changing appearance.

Some women catch sight of weight gain, but you won't typically gain weight surrounded by a manner specifically outside of your normal achievement pattern (ie some of us hold fat be in motion to the hips first, some to the face, etc.)

For some women the hormones are "too much" and they hold pregnancy like symptoms - breast swelling and pain, sensitivity to smells, nausea, etc. I guess that could be considered feminizing, but most women don't enjoy sensation pregnant when they are not.

There are some BCPs that claim to clear up the skin. Whether or not it would work for you depends on your body.

The dangers associated near hormonal birth control are too great to use it solely as a cosmetic drug. From blood clots to cancer - BCPs are not harmless and their use must be seriously scrutinize by potential users.

There are safer and more natural ways to sculpt the body, clear skin and appear feminine.

What's more - we, as women, obligation to learn to embrace diversity of "what looks virtuous." It is senseless, in my judgment, to continue to put our bodies and spirits at risk through unnecessary drugs and surgical interventions adjectives in the mark of looking better.

Physically disable sex - What should I tell her?"?

Although it depends on the pill, birth control specifically causes abundantly of women to gain weight around the breasts and thighs. I've be on it for six months now, and in the first two I went from a tiny little A cup to a full C, near hips to match.

As for other affects, such as fuller cheeks/lips/etc, clearer skin and what hold you, it probably depends on the medication. Some birth control can actually lead to you to break out, while others might get break outs underneath control. It just depends on how okay your body and the pill get along.

What could be wrong?

Hi :-) I can answer some of your question as a woman who has taken Yasmin for roughly 20 months now. It have not made me gain any weight at adjectives (this pill does not make citizens gain weight, breasts or thighs or anywhere) and although I can see your point, it hasn't made me any more feminine. I hold always be very feminine though. It have however, given me clearer skin (whihc started after about 9 months so present it time!) and it has also made my cramps better and my spell lighter. This is the reason I be put on Yasmin, and for the period alone I would recommend it, but the skin is an added side effect that is to say pleasing. Everyone is different but I would discuss it with your doctor and dispense it a trial when your doctor thinks it is a correct option for you. Good luck beside it and I hope you get the results you are after, Take concern :-)
