DID I start my birth control correctly?

After having my second child i started birth control right away after I granted to discontinue breast feeding. I took my pills as a sunshine 1 start and no period did i do it wrong.

There are two ways to start your pills, and your doctor should have explained them and the possible ramification of taking them in conjunction with lactation. This is because lactating women usually don't receive a period till they're done. I don't know if this applies to you however.

The two ways you're supposed to run them are:

Sunday start: You start taking your pills the Sunday after your period starts, or that morning, if your period begin on Sunday. You should use backup for 7 days.

1st Day start: You start taking your pills on the first day of your period. You don't want backup birth control.

Again, you don't say if you'd gotten a post-lactation length, so I cannot accurately answer your question. I would say-so however, that if you don't get a spell when you finish your first pack, take an HPT and/or hail as your doctor for an appointment to make sure things are appropriate.

It may just be for a time late this month or you may somehow be pregnant. Get a doctors appointment and a pregnancy try-out ASAP
