Can an ovarian cyst cause a positive on pregnancy test?

I took three at home pregnancy test and they be all positive. I go to the doctor to confirm and they gave me a urine tryout and it came out positive as all right. However, when I went posterior for my blood test results that the gyno took it come out negative and somewhere the gyno mentioned I be low in HCG which could have it in mind I just own a cyst and just not pregnant. I be upset after being told by the clan doctor that i was and she reviewed and said everything looked fine, but agreed that the HCG be low. I'm completely confused and wondering is it possible to get a postive pregnancy and not be pregnant and hold a cyst after all regardless of have my own home test and doctors question paper taken and all mortal positive, and my blood test self negative? Am i pregnant or not?

I enjoy heard of this. My mom is an Ob/Gyn nurse (over 15 years) and she said that an ovarian cyst raise your HCG levels which can rationale a false positive. It doesn't happen regularly, but it can happen. I would still receive a second opinion though, not simply for your health, but to make less burdensome your mind. Good luck!

It is very exceptional to get a false refusal, no matter what type of trial that you take specifically when you have more afterwards one positive. I have never ever hear of a cyst making a pt positive before, the solitary thing that i own heard that make a test contribute a false positive is when your are on fertility drugs. You really need to hold your ob/gyn do more testing or even an ultrasound because near may be more going that needs to be checked out. Go to your doctor and let somebody know them to figure this out! No you cant get a positive result because of an ovarian cyst.Usually if your HCG plane is low when you are pregnant is because you are going to have a misscarage.However sometimes if you a moment ago got pregnant after your HCG level might stir up,but that is not the norm.Believe it or not lots ofd women in fact get pregnant and dont ever know it because they dont steal a test and afterwards they start to bleed and think it a time of year when and fact they truly misscarried so early a long that they never know.So what i think could be going on to you is that you took a pregnancy test untimely enough to detect that you be pregnant but your body is rejecting it early which is cause you to have a low hcg plane.This happens plentifully.If you are wanting to have a toddler just try again it doest be determined that you cant carry a little one to full term.
