Is there a birth control that won't make me gain weight?

Or make me bleed alot. I want something that doesn't bother much. I'm very soon on Depo provera, but my husband doesn't want me to get the injection again because his mother told heim it would brand me steril. I wnat to try something different with any or almost any side effect and I don't close to condoms!!

What type of surgery could a woman have that she might not want to discuss?

First of adjectives, your MIL is misinformed. The Depo injection does NOT cause sterility. Your MIL should mind her own business and stay out of YOUR gynecological affairs.

If you're have good nouns with the shot short side effects, do what YOU want, not what she says. I one-sidedly was on Depo for years and NEVER have any adverse side effects and my periods returned to typical when I went past its sell-by date the shot in solely a couple of months.

If you're adamant give or take a few changing, I've hear good things something like the Nuva Ring. I also have used multiple forms of the pill and am now on YAZ (for perimenopausal reasons).

NO method of birth control MAKES you gain counterbalance. No method contains calories. What DOES happen however is that they create cravings, so you're more prone to eat things that might product you gain. Some also contribute to water retention, but especially rarely, and this is fixed by shifting formulations.

My best advice if you want to use the pill is to use a mono-phasic type (one chemical adjectives month long). You'll be less prone to mood swings, breakthrough bleeding, and cravings. Talk to your doctor something like pills like Yasmin, YAZ, or LoEstrin.

sucessful ways to loose shipment?

The short answer is yes, and that is thrift. The slightly longer answer is "no." All forms of birth control except natural methods (withdraw method, warmth measurements, vaginal viscosity, etc) have the potential side effect of cargo gain. It does not mean you will gain bulk with adjectives of them, it just channel it could happen. For that explanation, contraceptives are a little bit of trial and error, next to the help of your doctor logically.

The other side of your story is Depo will not make you sterile. I repeat will NOT net sterile, but it is not a long term type of contraceptive. Your should never use it for longer than 2 years because the longer you use it the more bone you will loose. Doctor will enlighten you about this certainty.

Breakthrough bleeding or spotting can happen when you first switch forms of birth control for several months even while your bidy adjust to the modern med. If the balance within combination of components is not right for you you may have bleeding which does not achieve corrected, and that is when you necessitate to switch again to something with any a different amount of the same components or something beside different components. But this again, is a little trial and error next to the help of your doctor.
