Ovarian cyst while on Birth Control?
I have be suffering with ovarian cysts for nearly a year now near irregular periods since my interval started. lately, I do not seem to enjoy any periods until the cysts burst which is excruciating. I enjoy been prescribes percocet and birth control pills (combined pill call zovia). I have be on the pill for 3 months now, starting after my final ovarian cyst rupture so it was supposed to be done near. I have be taking the pill regularly at the same time and this week own started having symptoms of a cyst. Now my right ovary is radiating anguished like a cyst is more or less to rupture.. same feeling I hold gotten with every cyst until that time.
Has anyone else been on birth control who have this same problem? Did the pills work for you or did you continue to return with cysts?
Anyone have any insight as to why I am still getting cysts if I am supposedly not ovulating? Thanks (ive tried google beside no good hits and calling my dr. tomorrow to gain an appointment sometime this week)

Hun, I'm so sorry that you having these horrible cysts bursting...how immensely painful! Sounds to me close to you should mention "Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome" (PCOS) to your doctor when you have your appointment! See if he/she will do some blood test to determine your hormone levels (which they will most predictable do anyway when you tell them of these symptoms). Sounds to me close to you should be on "Meformin". Metformin is given to women with PCOS (there are also some other medication similar to Metformin) and helps use up insulin in the body, which then allows your body to eat up it's LH, which is the enemy of your folical stimulating hormones that allow you to ovulate respectively month. This way, you can ovulate as you are supposed to, and should backing with the decrease of the cysts and the bursting, and ultimately, and hopefully, get rid of your affliction so you no longer have to bring pain medication for this purpose.
However, I am unsure more or less the use of the birth control pill along with taking the Metformin. But I'm sure near are other forms of birth control that will be fine used in conjunction with the medication.
Good luck at your doctor's appointment tomorrow! I hope you are competent to find a reason and a solution as soon as possible!
