Are you breastfeeding? I didn't get mine right after have my two girls and both times (2 different doctors) the doctors said that it probably was because I be breastfeeding them. However, just because you are not have your period, it doesn't imply that you can't get pregnant. I would clearly talk to your doctor's nurse only just to put your mind at ease. No infant wants a timid mother! (PS> make it confident for yourself: call and merely talk to the nurse on the phone. I wouldn't embezzle a baby into a clinic more than vital because they have like mad of germs.) Good luck and enjoy the child!

You might want to talk to your doctor around the safety of nursing while on the birth control pill... i.e. often contraindicated.
