I am having a womens health fair at my school (high school) and Im wondering what and or who should I have?
Like, should I have womanly docters, etc etc...also, what favors should I give surrounded by appreciation to attending? (everyone loves favors!)
Answers:
i guess i would vote avoid anything too controversial. minimize the focus on anything abortion-related, because both sides of that debate go nuts. it would be cool to hold a cosmetic dermatologist talk nearly skin care. or someone to parley about how most women wear the wrong sized bra (haha but for real). for favors, in that is the ubiquitous passing-out-condoms choice, but you might want something different. maybe product sample? good luck next to everything!
I been trying to loose wieght.?
Tampons?Yes, gynecologist, how going on for the director of the local STD's clinic, women who are living with herpes, HIV, AIDS, HPV, Survivors or family connections members of women who be diagnosed with breast, ovarian, uterine cancer. Oh, don't forget a cardiologist, (Heart disease is a top killer of women), someone from the domestic belligerence shelter and a drug recovery specialist. Someone to homily about Oesteoporosis. An abstinece proponent.
Women who can share their stories about, abortion, single parenting, adoption.
Those are only a few off the top of my come first, you can email me if you want to do some brain storming.
ANY QUESTIONS FEEL FREE TO CONTACT ME...Well if its a women's heath even-handed it should be about "women's health"In actual women's health fair,(whf)...there are booths of different info and screenings as it relates to women's vigour like breast cancer, heart disease, etc,HIV awareness etc.woman doctors are fine but if you are truly having a whf,its going on for health not career.as for favors have a chafe therapist on site beside massage bench and a 10 min neck squeeze free, and use this to emphasis smaller amount stress, its usually a big hit and you only reward for 1 to 2 hours of time...good luck and stress the down awareness part not the group part hahaha lol...get hold of nurses for screenings doctors wont do it..trust me,
I am 5 foot 6 and i am 23 years old what is that average immensity for someone like me?
The two key health things for women I guess are breast cancer and heart disease. The American Heart Association can provide leaflets and promotional literature, and possibly a speaker or someone to tend a stall if they own a representative in the nouns.Check with your doctor to find out which charities for Breast Cancer are local in your nouns, again, they are usually more than happy to provide info, and I don`t know even tend a stall.
For general robustness for women, you could also consider someone like a yoga or pilates instructor and/or someone from the local Y or even the PE instructor of the academy, to cover the benefits of keeping up an exercise routine.
Massage therapists, aromatherapist and maybe even Avon or Arbonne cosmetics might also entice women to come in for the "surface good" aspect of tending our condition (don't we all obligation to feel pamper every now and then). Also, how just about a local chef to talk/demonstrate healthy consumption habits, or someone from the local Wholefoods or similar strength shop might also be interested.
Also, check the school's policy for issues such as HIV, STDs, anti-drug campaign, rape crisis centers and if possible include these. Al-Anon and Al-Teen are sometimes predisposed to send someone, because even if the kids don't hold alcohol issues themselves they may be affected by a people member who does. Also check out an anti-smoking champion like thetruth.org. Most kids know their advert and there is an upsurge surrounded by teenage girls starting smoking.
Some sheriff's office also have a RAD (Rape Agression Defence) program which teach rape awareness and aviodance techniques. I outstandingly recommend them, I've been on the course and they are great, practical and frequent of the women are rape survivors themselves. They may be prepared to send someone to be in attendance for the fair to speak about simple prevention and awareness philosophy.
As for favors for participants, I don't reflect on you would need to provide anything for someone who would possibly gain custom from the unprejudiced (like your Avon rep), but a small thankyou gift close to a fancy scented candle would be a nice trait, with a well-worded thankyou transcribe for people approaching doctors and charity staff. The participants will usually bring some freebies and literature for the individuals attending, but if you were wanting to you could maybe provide a nice paper/plastic bag for race to put them in (maybe near a few leaflets on the important stuff, eg, breast exams, heart disease etc already surrounded by them).
Good luck with your generous, it's a great idea to hold for the school!
