Well, they own found that the depo can cause serious problems, such as bone loss. Also, immensity gain is one of the most common side effects of the depo. I'm considering getting the implantation as well. I currently use Nuva-ring, and I love it.

Well from personal experience please DONT use the depo shot. I gain 60 lbs. It took 11 months to get my time of year back and in a minute that I do have it support it looks like Im going to be head to the doctor very soon because Im have to change not simply a tampon but a pad every hour to hour and a partly because the blood is over flowing the tampon. Sorry for being symbolic!

Don't get the depo injection, it cause major immensity gain. As for the implant, I don't know how dutiful it is, but the Nuva ring is wonderful.

How do you avoid..?

Please don't do depo. I'd never ever recommend that for anyone. I was on it for four years and have horrid mood swings, weight gain, among other things. You also entail a bone density check since it really messes up your bone health.

I'd turn with anything else but depo. (i'm on Kariva next to no problems)
