starting at 40 unless they deem you as high risk(family history etc)

base on what you stated i would contact your gyn and get their belief on it. a non-threatening form of that happens to profoundly of women before/during menstruation..hence the breast tenderness.

Could i possibly be pregnant?

You stipulation to ask your doc about this since you do enjoy fibrocystic breasts. Normally you get a baseline one at 30 and after follow the routine schedule your doc requirements but since you have problems ask your doc as he may want a baseline one on your sooner.

Its is generally recommended that you start routine mammography at the age of 40, unless you hold specific risk factors. Mammography within premenopausal women (between 40-50) is less adjectives than in elder women. Therefore for younger women routine self-examination is even more critical.

As I said in my previous posts, I seriously doubt you have fibrocystic change at your age. Fibrocystic changes go off in nearly adjectives women due to cyclical hormonal effects. Your breast change contained by size 50-100 grams due to hormonal changes surrounded by each menstrual cycle. Over time these cyclical effects go behind fibrosis, dilated ducts and cysts within the breast, called fibrocystic change. We call it fibrocystic disease when it these change cause symptoms such as stomach-ache, lumps, and nipple drainage. Significant fibrocystic changes are unusually previously the age of 35, and would be rare at your age.
