Should I be taking norethisterone?

All I know about this drug is that it is a birth control drug. My doctor give me this drug because i missed my period for almost 4 months already, and nearby was no sign of pregnancy.

I am waiting for my time to come so I can take clomid. I enjoy already tried for a year and a half for a babe but it failed.
So, I am basically curious if this is the proper drug to take to formulate my period come and will it in actuality affect the possibility to get pregnant?

When us girls seize PMS why do we feel so awful for?

As I'm sure you know, while taking norethisterone your interval will not come, it's used to treat things like cloying periods or endometriosis and is also prescribed to hold your period away (I took it for this basis so I didn't get my length while I was have kidney surgery).

I'm guessing that once you stop taking the tablets then the Dr expects you to return with your period (it usually happen about 3 days after stopping the pills) and later you can start taking the Clomid/Clomiphene.

While you are taking the norethisterone you will obviously not be capable of get pregnant, but once you stop it after I'm led to believe that it doesn't enjoy a massive affect on fertility after stopping it (or I wouldn't have taken it!).

However, I would own a question in the order of the bigger picture. Why didn't you get your time for 4 months? That would indicate to me a hormonal problem. Has he done any other tests?

Make sure that you're not taking Clomid for more than 6 months. Studies hold shown that the longer it's taken the less credible it is to help near conception, and some studies say that after this time its affects on fertile cervical mucus in actuality contributes to not conceiving.

Listen I could talk adjectives day in the order of infertility, why not pop into our site and pick our brains there, or drop me a message. Id' be with the sole purpose too happy to have a word with you further.

Wishing you lots and lots of luck on your spree to become a Mum.
