It depends. If you're friend is unquestionably positive that it isn't an STD, and also keeping in mind that it could be a yeast infection (possibly having zilch to do with sex), afterwards it's just regular discharge.
One, the vaginal is self-cleaning. lol It's "cleaning itself".This is what pantiliners are for. Secondly, during ovulation, our hormones change, and we tend to discharge heavier. Someone else can probably confer you a more biological reason as to why.
