Why has my periods stopped, I am 49 had a baby nearly 6yrs ago my periods did`nt come back and doc said it was

menopause and put me on hrt, I stopped it myself. had a small bleed and doc referred me to hosp. they said i be definately not menopausal. doc then done another blood tryout which showed i was, rear to hosp. blood test shows definately not and internal oral exam showed i was due for humongous bleed! that be 3 years ago and still no bleed!! what do i do next as doc simply laughs at me thinks its funny, but what if its something underlying thats more serious, hosp. did`nt estimate it very funny that doc put me on hrt when i should`nt own been. medical answers individual please as i am worried.

Hormones are wonderful and complicated things especially when women manage our age.

So moral is I can get how you feel when one doctor tell you one thing and another another.
They would not know how to tell if you be going to have a huge bleed and if they could you would enjoy been given something to ensure it did not develop.
I think you are contained by menapause and if you are ok without anything and own good condition, no periods relish the menapause as it is rare to enjoy it without any complications.
The simply thing that worries me almost what you have said is they dont appear that bothered about giving recommend in grip of a pregnancy as you say nil is stable.
Go back to your doctor and express your concerns if you own had no bleed within three years I think your period have finished and you are in menapause.
Your gp should not hold put you on HRT so quick you needed blood audition first to confirm menapause after your periods did not return.
Remember blood question paper in menapause are not other accurate and it is not hospital or doctors fault it is hormones.
I dont ponder there is anything emphasize it is just that you own been not here in limbo environment do I take HRT? Am I contained by the menapause? So you need to walk back and own a good agree with doctor.

If you really believe that there is something else going on after go and acquire it checked out.
