Re: Breast biospy?
I just talk to my best friend last dark, she had a momogram and they found a suspicious nouns. They want to do a biospy, what do they do? Needle, or core biospy? Anyone know? She's pretty scared.
Answers:
A needle (core) biopsy may be done. A doctor uses a plunger to take a small piece of tissue from the lump or unusual area. Local anaesthetic is injected into the nouns first to numb it. You may feel a short time soreness or a sensation of pressure for a short time. Several biopsies are usually taken at one and the same time.
The sample is afterwards sent to a laboratory to be looked at by a doctor who is expert at diagnosing illness by looking at cell (a pathologist). Depending on the number of biopsies taken, the breast tissue may be quite bruised and sore afterwards, and this may run a couple of weeks to completely disappear.
well for her sake hopefully it will lately be needle, but she could telephone today and ask.good luck to her!!

Breast biopsy.by local anesthesia where on earth the tumor removed completely if it is small or part of it if roomy.Fine needle aspiration done by hypodermic introduce in the tumor and aspirate deposit on slide and send to the lab.
any of this procedure is collect and most of the time specially the biopsy done under local anesthesia.
move about ahead and do it and it is the best way to find the tumor if benign or malignant.
choice you luck
