Welcome to womenhood, I be nine when I started my period and it come when I was at conservatory in the 4th order. I was totally scared out of your wits I was dieing because I didn't know on the other hand what a period be. Not at that age.
I am just similar to you my periods are never regular. A couple months after I get my period it sorta go away for 8 or 10 months and then started again. When it started again it be compleatly screwed up. I would go for weeks and weeks at a time, sometimes I would enjoy two periods per month, and sometimes i would skip 4 or 5 months.
When I be 13 years old I have to get on birth control so that they could regulate my period. Prior to getting on the pill I bled HEAVY for 2 solid months. I was anemic due to the blood lost and they told me to start pills right away and it would stop. I started the pills and be almost all the method through the pack and it didn't slow down or stop at all. I have to go hindmost to the gyno. and get prescription pills to stop bleeding, it stopped but took 3 days. I be on birth control for my period from age 13 to 18 and once I stopped my period got semi regular, however its still alarming and I never start at the same time respectively month but I do have a time of year each month.
I would speak that since you sound seriously like me beside periods your best bet for your own form is to go to the gyno. your mother is correct and you call for to go. You're period need to be regular. There are abundantly of various birth control pills to regulate your cycle and near the information you provided about your cycle more consequently likely they will suggest birth control to find your period regular and vertebrae on track. Its important for your robustness.
Trust me I was upset to death to walk to the gyno back next but its nothing to be worried of. Its just a quantity of life for women. The concept of what will come to pass at the gyno is a bit scary but it doesn't hurt at adjectives. The only constituent is that you are a bit uncomfortable but once the pap smear is over its over. Your exam will be hurriedly, you will be suprised at how fast it is and how much it didn't hurt. I've have 4 gyno. doctors and based on the doctor it's painless and fast. Once you get over your first exam its nil when you go rear legs to other appointments. All women don't like going to the gyno but for their strength its required.
When you go to your first call round they will ask you questions, similar to are you sexually active, if you are do you use condoms, ever have unprotected sex, family history, when your spell begin and the problems next to it. Then the doctor will ask you to undress as they leave the room. If your more comfortable next to your mom in the room she can stay. Once you undress you put a gown on and lay on the table. Your doctor will return and ask you to place your legs contained by the stirrips that gives the doctor better access to your vagia. The doctor starts out sentiment your lympth nodes in your d??colletage, feel your breasts for lumps and later do the pap smear. Forecepts are placed in your vagina to depart it up, no they don't hurt, you may feel the cold and hear the click. Once your vagina the doctor will swab the inside near a long qtip and then insert a finger to check your cervix. The forecepts next come out and you will clean the lubcating jelly up as you wipe beside a cloth and you will get redress. Once your dressed the doctor will then return to converse to you about your question and concerned. The exam may take 3 minutes tops.
You are still childlike. It takes a long time to regulate. Hormones fine-tuning all the time when you are childish. The Gyn seems worrisome at your age, but it is best for you to talk to someone.

It's pretty average for girls your age to have irregular period. In fact, it's VERY ordinary. Aside from your age, there are other factor that could make your period irregular. For example, if you exercise a lot, or if you enjoy gained or lost substance, or if your body fat percentage is completely low.So don't be scared of the gynecologist. He or she will probably make clear to you that you are just fine. If you are underweight, the doctor will recommend you to gain weight. If you want to hold regular periods, the doctor can prescribe birth control pills.
How long does Depo Provera stay contained by your system after you stop getting it?
Your mom is giving you good warning, and you should do your best to cooperate. You might want to request that you go to a womanly gynecologist, as this makes some girls/women quality more comfortable. Make sure you have a honest record of your period (it sounds like you own that). If you need an actual pelvic exam (which you may not need), you can ask that your mom stay surrounded by the room during the exam if that makes you touch better. (She can sit in a cut of the room where she can't in actual fact see your private parts.) You can ask the doctor to warm up the speculum and the lubricant so it doesn't discern so cold.
