medical question about my fingernails...?

I have a cavernous ridge in respectively of my fingernails on my right hand. The ridge or groove is contained by the same place toward the bottom of respectively nail. I hear that this was a sign that something is or be medically wrong at the time. I have them equally too, but they arent as deep. Can anyone relay me what might have cause this.

Sometimes cavernous ridges can be caused by injury to the fastener bed (eg wart removal etc). Other ridges come from some vitamin deficiencies.
