Im on ortho tri cyclen lo.yesterday I was late for the green reminder pill for roughly 4hrs...Am I still okay( still protected) I know the instrucions say to throw away the rest of the green pills and start the new pack... but I dont want to do that b/c it will mess up my cycle. so will I be ok?or should I start the tentative pack? also I've heard that some women dont even take the reminder pills they in recent times throw them away and wait for the 7 days then start the topical pack... is that possible and yes they are taking the 28 days BC pills. What's going on?

The reminder pills don't have hormones surrounded by them. I don't take mine as it is not necessary to run them. They are just there to remind you to embezzle your pills regularly. So, if you have taken all the the other pills correctly next you are still protected the week you take the reminder pills. Don't start a new pack. If you miss an busy pill with hormones then it is time to verbs, but reminder pills no worries :)
