Why haven't I gotten my extent?

Im 16 ive had my period regularly since i be 12 or 13.

Im a virgin too.

But i haven't gotten my period for 3 months now, and i remember the finishing time i had it , it only last like a day or two.

Wat do u dream up is wrong with me?

Answers:    OMG the same entry happend to me! im a virgin too so i knew it wasn't that. i went to the doctor and she said at 16 it's conventional to skip periods every now and next. it also can be due to stress, too much exercise, and loosing/ gaining weight within a short period of time..
Many factors can contribute to not have a monthly period. You may be too young for this (however, I don't know), but possibly your doctor could suggest birth control that will help to regulate your cycle. Birth control is great. For some people, it help to clear their acne, but also help with PMS. Being on birth control will formulate your period more regular, meaning you'd obtain it on the X day of every month.

You really should consult your doctor. I don't see why after month two you wouldn't of sought out your doctor. He/she needs to rule out on their own why you've have a sudden loss of you period. Everyone is different, however if you're extremely underweight, that can cause your time to just stop without interest. But check with your doctor..
Changes in diet, exercise can effect this problem. Girls who train obsessively like Olympic gymnasts or girls who have discouraging anorexia/bulimia can have the same problem. You should see a doctor because in attendance are medical conditions that this could be a sign of. But it is also not unusual for your period to do strange things, so don't worry too much. But travel to a doctor, for sure. Have you lost weight recently? (Before three months ago?) Some girls are on the cusp of individual heavy enough to hold their periods. If you were on the cusp and you lost consignment, your periods will stop. This is not a good article and you need to gain weight if this have happened. If this is not the case, afterwards you need to see an OB/GYN to determine if there is something more serious wrong beside you.

EDIT: you are too thin and that is why your period stopped. My daughter is 5'2" and she lost hers once she went below 110 LBS. You are 108 and taller than she is. THAT is why your periods stopped. You do not enjoy enough body fat to keep up your periods so your body shut them down. You need to gain shipment to get them back..
Do you enjoy an eating disorder, or have you not be eating due to stress? Have you been pushing yourself extra strong whether emotionally of physically? There are a lot of reasons why some girl's skip period. It may just be some hormonal changes contained by your body, talk to your mom about it, you can run see a doctor together. It could be a number of things, like stress or weightiness fluctuation, or even something as normal as changing your intake habits. I do suggest making an appointment to see your physician. There is a chance that something can be wrong next to u that is a little more complicated than what i mentioned. Hope this help!.
if you've experienced alot of weight loss, or have be much more active than usual this could effect it.

the summers after grade 9 and 10 and i surmise even 11 i didn't get my period, newly because i would be so much more active i guess.

it's just because you're still childlike, it'll get more regular eventually. .
Hey! I think i know why you haven't have it, it could be because you've been excercising too much. Try drinking water, because that cleans out your adjectives body, and that's what happens when you get your term, you release all the germs. Wait about 2 or 3 more weeks, if you STILL dont bring back it, tell your mom, or see a doctor. Just dont worry around it too much.

good luck!

xoxo,
sammy<3.
Go to the gynecologist. i'm sorry but we cannot diagnose you over the internet. Especially for things like this.

this could be something serious, or this could be something explicitly nothing. but just to breed yourself feel better, go to the doctor. She/he can narrate you much more than any WomenAnswers.org contributor.

.
Listen to all of us,
it's either stress, exercise, deficit of sleep, and just irregular patterns from inheritance

but if this goes on too long
you have to see a gynecologist (OB/GYN)
and they will make available you birth control pills to help it go put a bet on to normal
:) it's that simple
nothing to verbs about .
It's probably nothing, period are likely to change for years after you start. It could be due to stress, disease, weight loss, changes surrounded by your diet or by doing alot more exercise. So it's probably nothing to worry almost but go and see your doctor if you're worried! Did you eat anything unusual for times gone by few months? Maybe that's why your cycle changed. Or, maybe your body is just varying, and your period is changing as powerfully. I think you should ask a friend or your mom about your alter, and go see a doctor as well. .
Talk to your mom and own her take you to the gynecologist.

Anything can stop your period, if you are underweight, diet, stress etc.

But you will want to get checked out just to put together sure everything is ok..
Are you on a severely restricted diet or perhaps under extreme stress?

When I be trying to lose weight I was on a strict diet and I missed my time of year.

I'd be smiling no more periods!! :0).
check with your doctor.
If you don't hold a balanced diet that would affect your period, also if you enjoy thyroidsroblems that will also affect your period Sometimes girls are just irregular. If your not have any pain or anything don't worry just about it but if your weight or anything changes you want to contact your doctor. birth control can make your periods more regular. .
Could be a choice of things. Too much weight, too little weight, too much physical movement, too much stress...

Best bet is to visit a gynocologist if you are concerned.

have you be exercising more that you usually do? that can sometimes make your period stop for a few months... Yeah my friend have that and it just went away though. Go see a gyno. They should be capable of tell you whats wrong and prescribe something. .
Go to a gynecologist: i have hear reports of really early menopause, just similar to really early alzheimers. I have no opinion. I suggest that you go to your doctor and tell her this and ask her what could be wrong. Good Luck..
Your immature your period will be irregular.

If your a virgin you have nil to worry about!.
It could be stress or change in your diet. hav you lost a lot of cargo recently? they stop if your below a certain bulk and your body cant do it..
It's not that big of a deal. It could be due to stress, or maybe your not ingestion enough. your turning into an alien.
separate yourselves from family member before it's too late..
Are you SURE your still a virgin???
