Which hormone(s) cause the bleeding to stop and wrap up your interval?

I now that a sharp drop in estrogen and progesterone starts your interval, but what stops it? Does the bleeding stop on its own just like that?

Frequent UTI's! Darnit! I'm tired of these.?

Your body produces a in one piece cocktail of hormones, two of which are estrogen at the beginning of your cycle and progesterone at the end (after ovulation). Follicle Stimulating Hormone get the estrogen going and the egg maturing, but there's all sorts of other stuff that goes on within between.

Your period will usually stop when your endometrium or uterine lining is fully shed. When you start producing the hormone mix for the subsequent cycle, the lining thickens again, and it sheds surrounded by the next period.
