I also have a hysterectomy at the age of 29. I believe mine was caused by the cervix. My dr. in reality said to me that it could be from the cervix. He did something called a colposcopy which is not to be confused with a colonoscopy. Once I have my hysterectomy (uterus and cervix) I didn't have anymore bleeding. Some women who have a supracervical or subtotal hysterectomy (just uterus departing the cervix) can still bleed afterwards and still have periods. Some own gone back in to get hold of the cervix removed because of the bleeding. One thought could be due to endometriosis. The cervix is part of the uterus and is the size of a coat button. If the uterus is removed and it had endometriosis or adenomyosis (endo within the uterine muscle) then it's possible for the endo or adeno to be left contained by the cervix causing continued bleeding or irritation from sex. I'm sorry you are having this problem. You should homily with you gyn dr. to make sure nearby isn't anything else going on. Good luck.i'm 20 and that happened to me too... no worried, a few things can cause it. if you are on the pill you can develope pollips (sp?) and they;ll bleed also they can effect your skin to become less elastic causeing tear. get a pelvic and ask you doc... but know you are not alone it happened to me ask my doc said it be nothing to worry in the region of. do know that any bleeding or open wounds put you are higher risk for stds so becareful and engender sure to get an std panel at the docs
