I'm not sure what kind of pill you are drinking, but maybe you stingy, you swallow the pill with a drink of water or something approaching that.Either way, it is best to continue taking the pill, even when your boyfriend is gone. Starting and stopping can verbs your body more than is necessary.
If you boyfriend is going to be gone for more than 6 months, then you could probably stop and later start again 1 month before he comes, but if it's just a few weeks or a few months, it's best to hold taking it. It regulates your body / hormones and will cause less stress on your body to stay consistent.
I'd simply keep on taking the pill otherwise you'll mess your cycle up unneccessarily because you'll have sex near him when he's back so just take on. It seems pointless to stop taking it if he's only going to be away a short while. It's pious your faithful though x
