I be really afraid of them and took me about 3 years after being on my length to use them, and honestly i would NEVER go back to pad.
You will like them so much better!
But if you dont want to wear tampons, I would say in recent times wear a little pad, not a long one, but rework often.

All i can think of right immediately is using toilet paper and try to make it look resembling a pad... or you have to jump to the bathroom every minutes when you feel it.

You can use an extra thick wipe it will absorb ever thing. i ruminate u can just wear apad and go.
