Transvaginal ultrasounds..what happen to your reproductive?
if they overdo the transvaginal ultrasound
an inexperienced person did one on me and he was up in that for over an hour (i didnt know any better)
i was later told thats outstandingly bad for your insides
now im worried, anyone know what overexposure approaching that does?
Answers: You'll probably be OK.
If you're pregnant, there is some debate about if extensive ultrasound exposure harms the tot (especially his hearing); but as far as the internal organs of an older person, unless he be ramming the probe around forcefully and cause pain, you'll be fine. The energy imparted by the ultrasound is minute, and it's not radiation approaching xrays.
