A pelvic ultrasound just mode that they will be ultrasounding your pelvic area, it doesn't determine what kind of ultrasound you will hold. You could have an abdominal or transvaginal ultrasound, or both, depending on your body type and what the doc is looking for.If you do need a transvaginal ultrasound, relax! The wand is extremely small, they will use lube, and usually the wand doesn't have to be inserted very thoughtful. It's way more comfortable than a speculum, if you've ever had one of those inserted.
hi, i have this done a couple of weeks ago, all it is, is a camera inside a thing that looks resembling a small vibrator, it has a condom put over it, then its inserted inside you, it does not hurt at adjectives, it is not even uncomfortable. they don't use any thing else so you will not procure pinched like you sometimes can with a frequent smear test. just lay rear and relax. i got my results the same year. good luck.
transvaginal and pelvic ultrasound are the same entity.
A pelvic ultra sound is NOT inserted inside you, it is done OVER your tummy.
But even if it is as long as your not a virgin then you should be OK! (Tell them if you are a virgin)
I enjoy had lots of these scans as I suffer from PERSONAL PROBLEMS( not going into it on answers)
It is thoroughly narrow & these use loads of" jelly" to lubricate it . its not at all raw

It could possibly be internal, when I was sent for a pelvic ultrasound adjectives my paper said was pelvic, but they did do a transvag.It depends on what you're self checked for. But don't worry, the transvaginal ultrasound isn't uncomfortable and it's over briskly!
yes it is an internal ultra sound. If you have have a pap smear, then its really not that different accept they enjoy the small camera inserted in. It doesn't hurt. Those u/s can be pretty clear
