I instinctively use only tampons. I haven't used a maxi pad since my son be born 15 years ago.Hygiene is a matter of choice. Pads DO run the risk of odor, but many individuals get freaked out by the VERY SMALL risk of contracting TSS from tampons, so it's really a matter of personal choice.
Think of it this means of access though...environmentally, tampons are better--- they're made of cotton and are small (and some come without applicators or cardboard biodegradable applicators), versus the bulk of a pad beside it's plastic backing and baggy and doesn`t matter what else. Another reason to use tampons.
If you change them regulary, they are probably similar. Tampons are merely a LOT more comfortable and they don't make you feel resembling you're wearing a diaper. Actually, now that I think roughly it, they may be a little cleaner than towels bc you can flush them instead of them sitting around in the trash can.
With tampons, the blood is kept inside and engaged there.
With pads, the blood comes out beforehand it is absorbed. It is messier by nature. There is more of a adjectives of accidents that way... and they tend to bunch if you are vastly active. I was other concerned about the smell, too. Plus, you can't swim with a sanitary towel.

minus a doubt i would pick sanitary towels. I think the idea of using a tampon and adjectives that horrible blood staying inside you for a few hours in horrible. I much prefer the idea of it coming out on a towel and making sure that you renovate it regularly and wash frequently. Just my opinionIs it common for kids to masterbate?
No, they are not.You can carry toxic shock syndrome from both - but more likely from tampons that are left contained by place too long.

i find padds discustingggg newly the thought of sitting in ur own blood and they are alot messier and uncomfortableeei pefer tampons =)
I use tampons. Pads gross me out. You like sit surrounded by your blood.. and when you wear them its really uncomfortable...
