Answers: if you haven't be having your period 4 atleast 2 years you shouldn't use tampons b/c of tss (toxic shock syndrom). to insert them you shouold use the instrutions on the box. if you hold trouble inserting it you should try using some petroleum jelly. it never hurt when i started using them (and i'm a virgin). if it hurts you probably inserted it incorrectly. before you start using them make sure your mom is ok w/ you using them. polite luck. they will get easier to insert after some practice.

It will hurt since your still a virgin, and your hymen isn't popped however. Just relax. Follow the directions on the box and when you reach a certain point where on earth it won't go in any further, angle the tampon to a infallible direction and it should slide right in. Good luck.
