Should a girls discharge be white or clear?

I just asked another question, but population are telling me that white discharge is a sign of something bad... I reflect I have always have white discharge... is that true ? what kind of discharge is normal? I imply of course i have be to the obgyn and gotten paps and so on... but never talked about discharge up to that time...

Answers:    White to clear discharge is normal. Milky white to clear that is stringy or sticky routine you are ovulating. Clear basically means your vagina is cleaning itself out.

Discharge that is to say white with a cottage cheese like consistency is usually a yeast infection. Discharge that have a strong, foul odor may be a bacterial infection or an STD. With certain STDs you can get green or gray discharge. .
During the few days you ovulate you may enjoy a discharge. It's heavier or lighter among women. Most of the time it looks like egg white...clear to translucent white and rather sticky. It can be truthfully thick or thin. I know that's a broad spectrum of variables, but every woman's body is different and lots of things--like her form at any given moment, her diet, medications, etc--can effect it. The main things to look for to determine if something's wrong are 1) is in attendance a strong or unpleasant odor, 2) when do you report the discharge and 3) is your vulva irritated/sore? If the discharge has a bad odor and/or you're experiencing itching or discomfort, you may enjoy a fungal infection and you need to see a doc ASAP.

Hope this helps..
Two things will get you wet "down there".

1) Your genitals keep themselves verbs and healthy by sort of "rinsing" themselves with the fluids that they build... sometimes there's quite a bit of fluid and it can leak out greatly, so wearing panty liners or even light pad can be a good thing to support keep your clothes clean.

2) When your body is aroused sexually ("turned on" or "horny", even if you're not doing or thinking anything sexual) your genitals will catch wetter and slipperier... so that a penis gan slide in there comfortably if you enjoy sex like it's telling you it requests (you don't have to, of course).

I'm a cook, so the only things I can really compare the strong smell of a vagina/vulva to are foods and such... and the nearest I can think of is a fairly mild combination of fresh oysters and grated truffles - usually more on the sea-like side, but not "fishy" and without doubt not unpleasant. It often smells a little stronger when you're sexually aroused, but not other.

If the stuff is clear or slightly milky (might be tinted faintly brown or yellow), slippery to maybe for a while sticky, and smells "earthy, animal and a little like the ocean", it's almost unquestionably healthy and good. If it smells truly fishy or otherwise unpromising, it's probably an infection and you should see a doc..
Discharge is very normal, white or clear. I have a sneaking suspicion that even if it is clear it dries up and looks white, except for when you are really sexually turned on and then it dries clear, like a polyurethane or something. You shouldnt carry concerned unless it develops a really bad odor for no apparent apology (such as getting ready to start your period) White is usually normal. If the discharge smells different than it used to, become stronger or fishier, then its something to look into. Also, if the discharge is of a cheesy substance or increases in amount, after it could be a yeast infection or another kind of infection..
If the doc didn't see anything wrong then you are fine. The consistency of the discharge could be a sign of infection, but I ponder your color varies (as long as it's not yellow or something) from woman to woman. White and clear are fine. It doesn't business what color discharge you have..
white and clear are normal..
ive other heard yellow is impossible..

but saying that white discharge is bad is resembling saying it bad to enjoy curly pubic hairs, or vice versa. lol

it runs in the house, everyone is different.

hope i helped =).
Discharge can range from white, clear, muted yellow, light brown. Depends on where on earth you are on your cycle. Your discharge varies throughout the month.

If it smells fishy, or is cottage-cheese like, that's when you call for to be concerned. .
It depends on the texture. If its all liquid, you should be fine. If near are "solid particles" you probably have some kind of infection. Your best bet is going to a GYN. Before girls achieve their period.
They "discharge"
Its usuallyy clear, then when it dries it turns white.

eww. I only sounded gross..
it is probablly normal but you really need to speech to someone about it to know for sure and dont be embarrassed because every girl experiences this. It existence!! I have had white discharge closely of my life also. It usually is when I am about to start my extent or even up to a week after..
If it itches, burns or smells, you need to make an appt near your doctor. Clear or white is usually ok. everyone's is different. You may have an infection if it is white..
It can be either, but usually it is white. lol it looks white but
its transparent
.
