ok so im on ortho tri cyclen lo, i didnt start it the sunday after my period, i started it 2 weeks after. then 2 weeks after i have been on it i had sex w/o protection. the doctor said i would be fine after i have been on it a week, but it started it a week late will i be ok? and in a minute im on the placebo pills. i took my third one today and i still haven't started my period, how long do i have to be on the placebos for me to grasp my period?

How does Planned Parenthood work?

You can have unprotected sex after 1 week of taking the pill. You're solely on the 3rd placebo, there is no need to freak out, it's not set that you will find your period on the 4th day or anything. You messed it adjectives up by starting in the middle of a cycle anyway so you're period is probably going to be really irregular.

the first few months that you are on birth control...its gonna be somewhat irregular. it took me at least 6 months to start normally (on the placebos). so dont verbs. it will start eventually. it may start tomorrow or next week...but it will start soon. nothing to freak out roughly speaking

Sounds like you probably should contact your doctor. Everyones body is so different. Starting birth control always throws past its sell-by date your cycle at first. So give it time, or take a pregnancy interview.
