Pregnant near term.or miscarriage?
My friend was supposed to get surgery, however it be canceled because blood tests showed that she was pregnant. She say she was having cramps similar to menstrual cramps. She believes that she may be/have be two weeks pregnant. Yesterday, she thinks she started her period, however when it first started it be bright red, now it is brownish and it is not substantial enough to call for it a period. I got her a pregnancy tryout and it came up positive. Could it be implantation bleeding or a miscarriage? She called the doctor, but he cannot see her for another 2 days-and she is emotionally distressed over it. I suggested she progress to the ER, but she refuses. She says the bleeding is not serious ample. Has anyone else gone through this and still ended up being pregnant? How long after a miscarriage does it bring for a pregnancy test to not show positive?
Answers: When you miscarriage you bleed profusely. She definitely would know. It's not that atypical to get your period when your pregnant. She is fine. She doesn't requirement to worry. I too think it could simply be implantation bleeding. Trust me. Miscarriages are extremely bloody, so don't worry! .
when you become pregnant you can bleed slightly at the beginning and it is completely typical
as you said it turned brown it should be ok as sometimes you bleed brown blood when you become pregnant as it is your body's way of cleaning you out ready for the infant to grow
if she keeps bleeding and it becomes similar to a heavy period i guess she should get checked out but it seems ok.
