Plan b/morning after pill side effects?
Answers: ~taking BC control pills a little earlier or a bit later, shouldn't affect your girlfriend's protection status...
even when a woman skips a day, she can double up the subsequent day...
it takes a while for the hormones to built up surrounded by a woman's blood stream & the same applies when hormones get reduced...
so time (hours) unreliable, isn't as important as skipping taking pills.
So, your girlfriend should be fine...
It certainly help you withdrawing.
I am in a similar situation, me and my fiance has lately started using the pill, did it on sunday first time unprotected (without a condom) and know i wonder if I should be taking the morning after pill, again. We had a previous incident where I have to take it, before I started taking the pill and adjectives I can say is that you should wait a bit. It took me 5 days on the morning after pill to bring a period...and boy was it a unpromising period. All I can say is to be beside your girlfriend in this time, she is just as worried as you, and she might have side effects of the meds. They work well, but stir to a GP or a clinic in any case purely to rule out pregnancy.
Best of wishes! and good luck!
