Periods next to impossible pains and blood clots?

For a long time during my period I had blood clots and I thought it be normal but now the pains and the clotting is starting to bring worse! And I'm starting to worry because after seven days of the end of my end cycle I'm spotting a little and last dark i was have really fruitless cramps down their. I tried to schedule an appointment with the gynecologist two weeks ago but they don't hold any openings. I leave for college surrounded by three days, what should I do?

Answers:    Severe period pains should always be investigated to check for a treatable do. As a rough guide, if you've had severe period spasm (known as dysmenorrhoea) since around the time your periods first started, it's less promising a particular cause will be found.

There are exceptions to this. Conditions such as endometriosis can sometimes produce severe pain from an early age (although the discomfort typically gets worse as the disease does more damage near each monthly cycle). Other causes include fibroids, pelvic inflammatory disease and sometimes a narrowing of the cervix. Bear within mind, though, that period pains are rarely a sign of disease, especially contained by younger women.

If the pain interferes with your vivacity, preventing you from working, going to school or coping with each day tasks, I would recommend you consult with a doctor/gynaecologist for further evaluation.

Good luck :)
