I was on dianette for 8 years, during this time i always have a withdrawal bleed and did not fall pregnant. My doctor changed my pill to ovranette, purely because this pill is intended to be safer for long term use. I took 2 full sheets of tabs and have two withdrawal bleeds which were conventional for me, compared to my previous pill use. The 3rd month i had period pains, or "cramps" but not a proper bleed. For 1-2 days i have a dark brown old blood discharge beside clots, but not the bright red blood that i normally have. I own done two prenancy tests in the concluding week and both have been cynical. Any ideas why the change?? Thanks
