Ok, so a few months ago, I scheduled a pap smear ( i have not have one in 5 years) with the doctor who used to do mine. I simply want her, no one else. Anyway, she is SUPER hard to find into. I am thinking though, that my period may come on the day of the pap smear. Should I beckon the office to cxl my appt, or should i play stupid and say "oh I didnt know you couldnt hold it done during that time of the month" and go ahead and go within ? I know you can't have it while that is going..but I don't know how else to re-establish myself next to this doctor. I really need to see the doctor, because my mom was merely diagnosed with cervical cancer 2 months ago. So I want to have the Gardasil shot and take all checked out soon. What do I do? She is booked up til August other than my appt subsequent week.

The best thing would just be to nickname and reschedule. Even if they are booked up, they may could work you in; especially if you explain the situation and tell them almost your mother. Most places are really good at working with you. Just don't terminate and do nothing, that is the worst piece you could do.

if they won't do the exam during your time of year, ask if you can keep the appt on the books as it as, and also calendar an appt for a week or 2 later.

that way, you can be sure that one of the programmed dates will be ok. just be sure to withdraw the other appt when your period starts.
