Normal blood clot?

Last night I went to the bathroom because I be cramping really bad. Now last May I get my tubes tied. But I passed a blood clot as big as my fist and it hurt so bad that it almost felt approaching I was having contractions.
My fiancee said that he think I need to go ahead and step through with the hysterectomy that my dr said would be best because of my condition my uterus just keep swelling. Every month the pain is getting worse and worse to the point I can barely move from a week in the past I'm on my period until 2-3 days after I finish.
Does anyone have any warning?

You should go ahead with the Hysterectomy. You won't be out of backache until you do. It's not all that bad, I've have it done. Maybe they could leave one of your ovaries in so you still produce some hormone? I'm not sure in the order of the tubes because I've never had mine tied. But once you have a hysterectomy, nearby are no more painfull periods or pain within between periods and it is so comforting knowing that. You might lose some of your sex drive, but not too bad. And you might still own pain from scar tissue and adhesion's but to immediately where near the scope of pain you are in presently. Do you have Endometriosis? That is usually the cause of severe pelvic niggle and big blood clots. I've had those too! It'll take just about 1 month to recover from a Hysterectomy. And about the third month you'll probably one to start taking a HRT (hormone replacement therapy) to compensate for the loss of hormones. I'd recommend Estradiol because it is more inbred for the body as compared to Premarian (pregnant mare urine). Best of luck!
