Hi firstly you need to know my Mum has have a full hysterectemy so has no women bits that could cause the problem. However, her stomach is swallen up so big that she looks close to she is pregnant. She has regular nerve agony in her back but since end night it has spread so she have shooting pains up her anus, vagina and we hole, she is unable to poo or wee. Does anyone know what this could possibly be? should she be in hospital? Has anyone have similar experinces? Could it be something really serious? any help please?

Answers:    it can be quite ok not to poo for a few days or more..but urination should be frequent during the light of day..if there is none.then..to me that signals an emergency.she may be severely parched and Will need to be put on a drip to hydrate the body..the will also want to know what has cause it.she is not urinating...this is very serious.take her to the hospital asap.it can own disastrous results if she doesn't seek medical attention immediately..
