Mirena a honourable form of birth control?

My doctor recently took me off the pill because I be experiencing bad migrains a couple times a week and she took my blood pressure and it was little giant, so she didn't want to risk keeping me on the pill. I don't really understand what the pill had to do near it but I'm seeing her again in a couple of weeks to discuss other forms of birth control. I read about the Mirena IUD and it sounds approaching the best option for me, although I'm not sure if because it's hormonal it will have like peas in a pod effect as my doctor believes the pill has on me. I'm also considering the copper IUD but Mirena sounds better. I really want to have kids when I'm matured enough so I don't want to risk not being competent to conceive in the future. I also enjoy lost a significant amount of weight recently and still own some left to loose so I don't really want to worry almost weight gain either. Is Mirena a righteous choice?

Answers:    Mirena has hormonal component and as you already had side effects from hormonal pills - better use hormone-free IUD. Read everything just about IUDs in http://www.menstrual-cycle.info/16-IUDs.
