Is Botox for hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating) sheltered during pregnancy?

I have a condition called hyperhidrosis, which is excessive sweating. I hold had botox injections for this bothersome problem in my previous with great results. It lasts for 6-8 mos and no sweating at adjectives.

My concern is that we are trying conceive. I have taken a pregnancy test to confirm we are not pregnant, but within theory it's possible to occur at any time and I don't want to do something that might mete out birth defects to my unborn child.

Does anyone know if botox is safe during pregnancy? Has anyone have it done during pregnancy and what were the results? I really need this procedure... it's not for self-absorption purposes, but I have a real and mortifying condition that can be controlled with this procedure. However, it is not worth it if Botox will damage my child. I would never forgive myself!

Please, if anyone have had an experience or knows the answer I would love to hear from you!

Pregnancy / smoking interrogate.?

It's best only to tell your doctor that you are trying to conceive and ask s/he what the effect of the injections could be on a fetus.
