The word "douche" way to wash or soak in French. Douching is wash or cleaning out the vagina (also called the birth canal) with hose down or other mixtures of fluids. Usually douches are prepackaged mixes of water and vinegar, baking soda, or iodine. Women can buy these products at drug and grocery stores. The mixtures usually come in a bottle and can be squirted into the vagina through a tube or nozzle.
Most doctors and the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) suggest that women steer clear of douching. All wholesome vaginas contain some bacteria and other organisms called the vaginal flora. The common acidity of the vagina keeps the amount of microbes down. But douching can change this delicate go together. This may make a woman more prone to vaginal infections. Plus, douching can spread existing vaginal infections up into the uterus, Fallopian tubes, and ovaries.

I think you a moment ago basically stick a tube in your vagina and pump water/soap into it. It's truly pretty bad for you, because it messes up the pH levels surrounded by there. Its supposed to clean your vagina but I enjoy heard that it is not good and will mess up your PH level (as someone else stated )which can cause all kind of bacterial infections.
It's something to do with the Kaballa as taught by Anne Heche. its a water/vinegar solution most women douche after their extent or having sex.
it was done mostly within the 40's with water and baking soda. but very soon it is not reccomended. I agree with the answer above me.
