I'm going for my first gyno call round soon?

I'm going so that I can get on birth control. What type should I bring up with her? I be considering the YAZ one, has anyone used that? I'm not good next to shots or patches, but I was considering one of those plastic things that the doctor puts contained by. What are the pros/ cons of those? Feel free to suggest anything that you think would be good for me. I'm 14 years outdated, and have had my time for 6 years now. It is pretty heavy and unevenly irregular, and painful too. I need to know if in attendance are any birth controls that don't cause weight gain, too.

First time have sex. I've get a few problems?

Hi, honey. I know you're 14, but I will noticeably give you my input, considering you are very grow for your age! :)

1.) I am really happy to see that you want to find Birth Control, just save in mind that Birth Control does NOT protect you against STD's, STI's, etcetera...

I am currently on YAZ. I have be since... October 2007 (over 6 months). Honey, I love it! I have not gained an ounce from it, honestly. It's wonderful. In the pamphlet on YAZ, it claims to serve with preventing acne, weight gain, etc. It have helped my acne, as well. They utter that this is a wonderful, newer drug for birth control and the women at Planned Parenthood definitely supported my choice to use YAZ. YAZ also has the smallest amount of hormones in it, which also means, that if you are overdue often taking them or miss them, you could definitely become pregnant more well...

... honestly, I'm not a doctor, so asking the nurse/doctor about side effects of birth control is your best bet.

Birth control works differently for everyone.

Several of my friends are on the injection, and they gained fairly a bit of weight.

The patches are lately a pain. They could come off surrounded by the shower, snag your clothes and fall off, etcetera. That seem really unsafe to me. It has been certain for causing deaths more frequently surrounded by some cases...*SOME cases, and not a lot, of course...

The "plastic things" that the doctors put within are called "IUDs" or an Intrauterine Devices. They insert this through the cervix and is placed in the uterus. It can ultimate for many years and really is not noticed during sexual movement. However; side effects include: Heavy menstrual periods (sometimes), possibility of ovarian cysts, weight gainac, headache, acne, depression, etc. It can also "come loose" and is rather costly to put in and remove. It also cause possible risks to not becoming pregnant even after being removed...

IUDs are never suggested to young adults, and just ever for girls that have never had a child/children.

I right to be heard YAZ! :)

If you have heavy period, are you anemic? Ask your ob-gyn to check your iron levels through a blood test. You may also necessitate to be put on Iron Pills (I take them too! But I do not have starchy periods, it runs in my domestic to be low in Iron)

Good luck!
And remember to learn as much as possible just about STDs, too. Most people don't get symptoms of STDs.

:) I hope I help!

Could this be heart disease?

Personally, I think you're a little too childlike to worry about anyone on birth control. That whole bit we all told our moms just about getting on BC so we could make our periods regular is such a lounge LOL. But...if you are going to go on BC, visit the YAZ website planned below. Also, try the other one listed below. It's supposed to have a great deal of info. about different types of birth control listed near!
