I'm freaking out! How do you insert a tampon???
Answers: It's probably that your hymen is not letting the tampon go contained by easy. I'm not a female so I can't really grasp if it'd hurt or not, but if you want to use tampons then I recommend putting it in slowly and humanely..
Just relax :) If you tense up it's going to be hard to bring it in.
It takes some time to gain used to them and to inserting them.
You can either sit down and do it or put a leg up on the toilet, then insert the tampon and push it within with the applicator. It should go within enough that you won't feel it. Don't verbs about the blood, you are on your period..you can verbs it up after you are finished. I'm pretty sure there is a pamphlet in the tampon box to show you how it's done..
Honey, they'll do that - gain bloody. That's what they're supposed to do.
Did the package of tampons that you bought come with insertion instructions? Tampax have great ones and several people on here have also recommended Playtex to other girls that own asked about first time tampon use.
Make sure that you are using tampons with the pointed insertion and that they have plastic applicators. Also, you should be using juniors or lites your first couple of times till you procure used to putting tampons in.
Good luck, honey and don't be scared. I promise, I've be using tampons since I was 12. I even accidentally put two in once - don't ask me how...LOL - and I am fine (I'm 29 now).
P.S. I be able to get both out - it happen when I was 13...LOL. .
Look inside the box, there's usually a sheet with directions and diagrams :)
If not later here's what i did my first time..
(i used non-aplicator ones though)
Squated down with a mirror in between my legs so i could see the hole (sounds gross but i needed to see where on earth it was)
With my left hand split my vaginal flaps within half, and with my right paw slowly pushed it up.
I kept pushing it up untill it was comfortable.
The hole is diagonal pointing towards your back - so don't try and put it within vertically you wont get very far :)
It wont hurt, it will only just be a bit uncomfortable for a while. Dont worry though, they will become more comfortable.
I other wear a panty liner incase i do leak which is very not often.
It will get bloody - that's what it's there for.

You can try putting some water based lubricant on the tip of the applicator or tampon such as K-Y jelly to backing ease the insertion.

ok well its sorta concrete to explain over the computer..
so im not going to try lol :) but the key is to just RELAX*** if your to strung out its not going to go in as assured. but in every box of tampons there is directions. read them and it should aid ALOT !

The box should give you directions on how to, only just look either on the box or the paper roofed in the box of tampons. y did u tell them that ur not using tampons....

i once tried putting a tampon in when i be heavy and it kinda went adjectives wrong. Can't u use a pad instead until u stop ur periods later practice doing it until u can?
